Indian Traditional Wedding cloth

Indian Traditional Wedding clothes is a set of clothes worn by a brides, bridegrooms and other relatives that attending the group. Just like the other culture, Indian wedding clothes is depend on their own religion.

In Indian culture . There are two part of religions that make the wedding ritual and wedding dress different. First is Hindu weeding and for the second one is Christian wedding. So let us go one by one.

For the first point which is Hindu wedding, basically hindu wedding is different from the other wedding which their wedding ceremony does not resemble the western marriages culture. For Hindu culture, the bride and bridegroom will wear new attire at each occasion. So let us discover their wedding clothes that make the wedding more happening.

For the Bridegroom's Traditional clothes : 
Dhoti, Lungi and Mundu is their Traditional wedding clothes and it is being wore since long time ago. Apart from that, the bridegroom will usually wear a veiled that will cover their face. This veil is being wear with a curtain of flowers that called as Sehra.


Next is the Bride's traditional clothes :

For the brides wear, they will usually wear saree or lehenga according to their own culture. As we saw in the Bollywood movie, the brides will always wear the saree and they look more interesting and attractive as the colour and the design is unique and the clothes always symbolize their own culture.

For my second point which is Christian wedding, this wedding is basically an adoption of western wedding ceremonies which the bridegroom will wear a western suit or tuxedo. Meanwhile, the bride will usually wear a silk saree or a western gown as their wedding drees. 

As conclusion, culture and religion do influence wedding dress and wedding ceremony. There are some videos that show Hindu weeding dress and also the ceremony that they involve in.
